Recharged!

Originally starting as a simple warmup sketch, the piece “Recharged!” evolved into a full illustration, then to a paired set, and resolved as a full blown hypothetical album for the imaginary band Gorgeous Days. This combination of illustrations was originally going to be used as character designs for a series I’d been planning to create, but as the timing of working on one never worked out in my favor, I routinely looked back on these illustrations and felt they could’ve been used for more than just looking cool on their own. A couple weeks of drafting, tweaking, editing, and mock-ups later, and the “Recharged!” (name of the aforementioned planned series) album was born.
