Arsène Lupin

The gentleman burglar Arsène Lupin has been a legendary literary character for decades, and has seen more than a few adaptations across several forms of media. I’d wanted to do something with the character of Lupin for a while before working on this item, and when I was presented with the project of designing my own book layout/cover for an existing novel, I knew it was time to make the best of the opportunity and create my own copy of the first collection of Arsène Lupin short stories. Given the nature of the titular character being an honorable thief, and well known for his gentlemanly nature, it was only fitting that everything from the palette to the type should breathe grace and elegance.
